Dear Patrick Baumann, I was surprised to find out that you had informed our dear good old friend and Big Brother, Mr. Carl Ching that you did not have any knowledge of the Bangkok Agreement. You claimed it was the product of two parties (the BAP and SBP) and you were just a witness to the Bangkok Agreement. Allow me to tell you this. It was you who pointed out to me how to protect our group by negotiating for the "1st members submitted to FIBA in the Tokyo communique" to become "REGULAR MEMBERS", Thus, will have Full Right including the Right to Elect the 1st set of officers that will replace the officers of the Transitory period" as provided in the BAP/SBP document, in the "Transitory Provision SECTION.” It was you who promised me that the position of executive director was to be given to somebody who was neutral. It was you who worked out the final point of the disagreement, which was that the merger would be named "BAP-Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas." It also was you who described Mr. Noli Eala as a “snake” and that he should not be allowed to have any role in the new merger because of his blunder in the Fiba Asia Champion Cup of 2005. At that time, I felt all the signatories to the Bangkok Agreement believed in the sanctity of the document because they were men of honor. They wanted to bring back the sport that is the most popular and closest to the heart of the Filipino people through the lifting of the FIBA suspension. That way, the Philippines would have been able to defend the men’s basketball medal in the Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) competitions. Unfortunately, things did not turn out right. "You are the Soul and Figure in the Bangkok Agreement." I urge you to determine which Honorable people in the Bangkok Agreement abided – or did not abide – by the document. This is in order to put an end to this wasteful use of resources and time, TO DETERMINE WHO IS THE LEGITIMATE OFFICER OF THE ORGANIZATION! I remain and thank you! Christian D. Tan Elected BAP-SBP Executive Director

Mr. Carl Ching Dato' Yeoh Choo Hock Mr. Hagop Khajirian FIBA Secretariat FIBA-Asia &FIBA Family BAP Executive Board Dear BAP and FIBA Secretariat and National Federation Members:
I am just an ordinary person working in the Basketball Association of the Philippines (BAP) as a technical officer. What had happened to the BAP was the cause of Mr. Patrick Baumann's manipulation and greed. As I was informed that an arrangement between the BAP Secretary General Graham Lim and Patrick Baumann for an understanding to settle their differences, I would like to advise Mr. Lim not to be too trustful to a person like Mr. Baumann who has lost his own credibility in handling the merger of an non entity like the so called SBP with the Bangkok Agreement proposed by Mr. Baumann for the Philippine federation known as BAP-SBP. Everybody in the Philippines knows that Mr. Baumann conspired with the SBP to gain control and push the BAP out of the international scene. As I said time and again, I don't trust Mr. Baumann, of course, he is a swindler. That's all I have to say to all my fellow friends and technical members in the BAP. Yours truly, Frustoso Raytos Technical Assistant National City League Championship |
